What 32-bit #microcontroller (i.e., Cortex-M or RV32, not a Linux application processor) has the highest Coremark/mW, or lowest uA/MHz? A quick search suggests Ambiq Apollo 4 or ST STM32U3, but are there others I should look at?
I want the maximum CPU performance I can get powered by a CR2032 coin cell at under 1 mA current. (CR2032 useful lifetime decreases dramatically above that.)

Inspired by ‪Youtube's Patt Vira‬, I implemented the Reaction Diffusion algorithm in C++ on my testbed for my 64x64 matrix. Next step is to port this to my #esp32 #microcontroller and have it output directly on the #HUB75E #LED Matrix display.

In my implementation, I have three different rendering modes

Every 0.5 seconds I add/subtract a bit of B value to keep the sim alive, and reset the entire thing if the balance goes over 50%

Do you know an low power #SBC which has got both an #AP(Application Processor) and an #MCU(micro controller) and TRMs(Technical reference manual) are available in English in the public?

I don't need something fancy. A Cortex-A7 for the AP with at least 128MB RAM is enough. #riscv is okay too.

The only one I know is #milkvduo. The SoC has got an application processor(either RISC-V or 1xCortex-A53), and two MCUs.

Also I want the SBC to have #Wifi.

Also I want something cheap. not more than 25 USD.

This is the micro:bit
It can be programmed using Scratch and comes with various sensors, an LED matrix + 3 GPIO pins.
It’s a great starting point for kids aged 7+ to learn microcontroller programming.
My son had been using an emulator for some time, but having a real microcontroller is much more exciting
