Anthony Horton<p>I've deliberately blurred the distinction between observatories and telescopes there, and approximated some of the ages, but the point still stands.</p><p>Cerro Armazones and Cerro Paranal are both in the running for least moist place on Earth. Excellent for astronomy, somewhat detrimental to astronomers. Siding Spring Observatory is rather moister than most astronomers that have used the telescopes there would like, but it's still not as moist as La Specola.
