June 17, 1983, 42 years ago today: No sooner had I begun the three miles of ridge walking on Pearis Mountain, than the sky, which had been darkening all day, turned truly ominous. June 17, 1983, 42 years ago today: I just could never seem to get it going after that long day yesterday. It won't be long before the flowering season is over again. So if you still want to discover something, you have to be quick.
