Rod Faulkner<p>Nichelle Nichols was a true icon. She is one of the few celebrities I've ever met.</p><p>It was back in the mid-90s at a small regional comic book con in Memphis, TN, where I lived at the time. I was part of the organizer's staff and escorted her during her appearance at the con. </p><p>Let me tell you, she was the epitome of beauty, class, and grace.
