Tim Erickson, @stpaultim<p>I have a semantic quibble with all the posts asking me to stop blaming strikes for economic damage.</p><p>I agree with the intent to shift focus from workers to employers.</p><p>But, I don't blame strikes on workers. Strikes are the result of workers and employers inability to come to agreement for any of many reasons.</p><p>In most cases, workers are the ones who sustain the most damage from a strike, so why would I blame them.</p><p>"Stop blaming strikes" just doesn't feel like a useful argument 2 me. </p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Nitpicky" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Nitpicky</span></a></p>
