Sometimes I wonder what it is about me that makes me get #overlooked. Not just romantically, but in every aspect of my life.

When I had my son, I was still competing at a national level in my chosen sport. I’d seen other athletes and coaches bring their very young children to training and a throng would appear to look after the bub. Why did the same not happen for me?

When they wanted someone to take photos for the awards night at the company I work for, they asked someone with zero experience and no camera to do it.

When I go to a bar (which doesn’t happen very often), I can sit there the entire night without being approached once (yes, I know you’re probably thinking that’d be lovely).

When I post on socials, I’ll barely get a sniff when others post similar things and get hundreds of engagements.

I don’t want others to not have their #experiences, I don’t want to take away from others so I can get. I just want to know how I can also have those experiences.
