Open pour into glass, top with ice, float the rum, and garnish. Chris RuppelEL VOLCANITO 1½ oz grapefruit juice ¾ oz fresh lime juice 1 oz maple syrup ¼ oz cinnamon syrup 1½ oz Black Blended Rum ❺ 1½ oz Pot Still Lightly Aged Rum ❶ Garnish: spent lime shell, mint sprig Method: Combine all ingredients except overproof rum in a mixer tin with 12oz crushed ice and flash blend for 10 seconds. Open pour into the glass and garnish with mint and spent lime shell face up. Pour the overproof rum into the spent lime shell, and serve drink. Ignite the rum inside the lime shell once the glass is in place. Dusting the flame with cinnamon is always a sure-fire way to impress your friends! Garnish with an orange twist. Stirring my way through the cold weather. I found it hard to pick out the base spirits. Rather, they intensified the bitters and amaro bringing out strong spicy flavors balanced out nicely by the syrup.
