Here's an animation I made a while ago and forgot to post!
#TilingTuesday Truncated dodecahedron from double rhombic prisms.
The faces are actually a rhombic decomposition of the decagonal sides of the truncated dodecahedron.
#TilingTuesday - closed tiling of 122 equilateral polyhedra.
Exploring new shape in upcoming release by @hedron
#TilingTuesday: #Tiling of 114 identical #toroid equilateral #polyhedra
f(z)=ln(e^it z^2 + c)
I taught my code differentiation rules, to easier search through functions.
And here's the Cycles version. Personally, I prefer the Eevee render right now.
I don't know if many of you noticed the grass effect in those renders I posted a few weeks ago, with the truck, drone, etc., but I've been trying to get that effect to work on a non-flat surface.
After some tinkering, I think I finally got it - and it looks pretty good in Cycles too!
First, the Eevee version...
All done! Took 90 minutes to render, on the dot.
I sorta want to make a 60fps version, maybe at half speed. But that would mean 4x the frames as this one, and I'm not ready to devote 6 hours of render time to this.
Not bad for a half-day's work!
This forklift took me way too long to make today, but it's rigged and ready to go!
