the dangling dregs of yesterday
making life lapse into a past that
can never return to taint this present
with head angled toward new days
new thoughts and moments moving
to the sounds that herald daytime
that puncture mind
then return to reality...

We lay out in the stars this is more then what I had hoped for

On 1 March, Bulgarians celebrate the beginning of spring with the tradition of #Marteniza. On this day, friends and family members exchange red and white threads or small dolls known as martenizas. These are worn until the first #Stork or blossoming tree is seen, then they are tied to a #Tree. The red and white colours symbolise health and happiness.
