Our 1960s Iconic Artists Top Twenty Chart Poll

The final chart. Unsurprisingly, the Beatles dominated. The Rolling Stones did slightly better than I expected - my prediction was 1. The Beatles 2. Jimi Hendrix 3. Aretha Franklin 4. The Rolling Stones. 5. The Beach Boys.

Bob Dylan did better than I expected, simply because his songs don’t attract much support in our polls.
