For the "Wikidata and Research" conference, I experimented with a "digital first" style of a poster:
doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15591699 (LaTeX source included).

Everything blue is linked to the source URL, thereby providing a #rabbithole experience that paper-first posters (or bitmap thumbs) don't. Got positive feedback from in-person participants (for whom I provided a QR code) but would appreciate further thoughts from folks here.

ZenodoWikidata And Research As Reflected in Wikidata Status Updates 2012-2025A poster for the Wikidata and Research conference taking place in Florence on 5-6 June 2025. It represents research-related content of the Wikidata:Status updates that have been published weekly since April 2012. Its section structure replicates some key elements of these reports, and the content within each section is ordered chronologically, oldest first. Everything blue is linked, and the links from the core part of the poster link to the corresponding status update. The poster is provided both in PDF format and with the LaTeX source file. The poster PDF is also available on Wikimedia Commons via https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Wikidata_And_Research_As_Reflected_in_Wikidata_Status_Updates_2012-2025.pdf.
