New drawing started. This ladybug is from a photo I took about 10 years ago. It's also a digital redraw of a pen sketch I did in 2020.
I'm 32 minutes into the drawing, and have made 328 strokes.
Morning doodle: Cobb’s Wren (bird picked at random)
Since these birds mostly dwell on land, I had a lot of fun creating a little setting for it!
This doodle took me 2h20 to complete!

Today's #SidewalkFriends sketch. An empty cup of coffee was the inspiration for this cosmic skull drawing. #Procreate #ProcreateArt
Morning doodling with a black-striped woodpecker! (Bird picked at random)
I love birds that have very graphic patterns on their feathers!
This doodle took me 2h20~
Utah - drawn over the course of four evenings. Total drawing time: 1 hour and 21 minutes. 1456 strokes. Based on a photo I took in 2016.
I felt like drawing a bird so I used a random bird generator and landed on the Bornean Leafbird, which I did not know!
I might try and do that more often!
This doodle took me 2h20 to complete~
My latest piece, done in Procreate on an iPad Mini.

Here’s Cliffside Sunset
I envisioned dragonite flying through the sky while little pokemon sit on the cliff side watching.
One of my goals for this year is to submit an entry into the Pokémon card art challenge. Last year was the first time I became aware of such a thing and immediately felt the pull. My lack of background ability however kept me from this goal, hence the studies. I’m hoping to start adding characters into scenery once I feel I have a better understanding myself without guidance.
I’ll upload the progress video for this later as well
Heres to goals!
Paul and James -- I worked a fifth session tonight. I have an early morning so I could only work about half an hour this time, for a total of two hours and 40 minutes.
