Erica Laeta<p>Seems that 16 out of 18 <a href="https://ruhr.social/tags/beans" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>beans</span></a> did not sprout although I made more effort than last year. Found white slime as remains of three beens in one pot. </p><p>Last year I harvested a small amount of beans and will now try to make them sprout on wet kitchen paper. Wish me luck! Unfortunately I have to research based on my photos which varieties those four are. Both are now just under 1.90 metres tall</p><p>Still all emerged beans are ok. Yours are much more advanced than mine - clearly better weather where you are ☀️ I suspect some of my varieties will turn out not to be suitable for the West of Ireland. But the species are quite different:</p><p>"Gadenstedter Omabohne" is growing fast and has 100% emergence. But also a variety with no emergence at all after 4 weeks.
