Is there no #opensource #VibeCoding tool that lets you build web apps without #React / #nextjs?
Something that builds #localfirst #PWA with vanilla #JavaScript, with single-click deployment even to a #RaspberryPi, and optionally uses CDNs?
Think of something like what DuckLake does with DuckDB #WASM but for transactional systems instead of analytical – compute on the edge/endpoint with centralised storage?
Maybe with #WebSocket, #WebRTC & #Fediverse as optional additions?

Built another little progressive web app over the weekend!
If you've got a lot of little amounts of crypto lying around (from when that sort of things was cool) and you would like to keep an eye on what it's all worth, then have a look at ... *tata* CryptoTracker.
Enter amounts directly or add public wallet addresses to get current amounts from them, then select which currency to convert to, and it shows you what everything is currently worth!

I've been excited about #ProgressiveWebApps since the very beginning--the ability to "install" a website to give it all the capabilities of a native app is all I've ever wanted my whole career.
So I really hate to admit that I've stopped using them entirely.
It's just not worth the confusion when you switch between browsers; is this #PWA installed in Chrome or Opera? Is this version of Spotify the native app, or will my widevine settings in @brave make it stop working?

Made some new icons for dub and sub labels today, but they don't look as great as I thought would in the app. Tomorrow let's take another pass at the hinting, colors, and shadings to see if we can fix it. See you then!
