macoWorking today from Spark Social House, the new queer café (and at night, alcohol-free bar) at 14th & U St NW. I’m in their “living room” since the bar spots are all full of other people with laptops. Since they only serve drinks and pastries, they’re fine with people bringing in their own lunch. DC Queer Tango CollectivePics from today’s queer tango class. Georgia was out today, so instead of 1hr each of beginner/practica/technique, we did 1.5hr of beginner class followed by 1.5hr of practica. DC Queer Tango CollectiveWe are excited to announce that starting this Saturday, March 22, we will be offering FREE dance classes and practice EVERY Saturday afternoon. All of our events are queer-centered. Please note, no street shoes or stiletto heels are permitted on the dance floor. Dance shoes with flat or chunky heels are fine, and socks are a great option.
