"Five states have banned #rankedChoiceVoting in the last two months, bringing the total number of #Republican-leaning states now prohibiting the voting method to 10"

we want 3rd parties

we want to vote our conscience rather than endless dreary strategy

we want #RCV

which we get how

by voting #democrat, and pushing them on the issue

rather than doing nothing but whining

“This is ridiculous”: Ranked choice voting is the greatest step forward in U.S. elections since the Australian ballot. (Google it.) But #RCV comes with a downside. You mark your first, second, third, etc. choices … and then wait to see who won. And wait. And wait. Will we learn the results of Tuesday’s Oakland CA mayor’s race … by Friday evening? Or will it take weeks longer? sfchronicle.com/eastbay/articl

BREAKING: Skokie, IL just became the THIRD municipality in Illinois to adopt #RankedChoiceVoting!

58.29% of voters voted to pass the binding referendum, which requires that future elections of Mayor, Clerk, and Trustees be done via RCV. Turnout exceeded 25%, high number for an off-year election!

Skokie voters will now have more choices and more power in future local elections. Congrats to Skokie, and thank you to all who helped get this on the ballot and passed!

We just finished up our Rank your Beer event! Participants ranked their favorites from a selection of four beers, and the ultimate winner (Blood Orange Blonde Ale) got majority support in just two rounds of tabulation with #RankedChoiceVoting.

We were joined by Vice President of Operations of the League of Women Voters of Chicago John Engle, who spoke about the long history of ranked choice voting in Irish elections and the great benefits it would bring to Chicago.

Hey #WashingtonState voters, we have one more day to get the #RankedChoiceVoting bill out of committee in the state legislature. Please take a moment to call the Legislative Hotline at (800) 562-6000 and register your support for the Washington VOICES Act, HB 1448!

Here's a link to the bill: app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?Bil

Ranked choice voting levels the playing field for women, candidates of color, and people new to the political game. Candidates don't have to worry about "spoiling the election" and voters don't have to worry about "strategic voting." With RCV, everyone gets a fair chance in our elections and voters can vote their true preferences.

@old_hippie @pmonks

that's exactly what has to happen

#MAGA devoured the #GOP

now the #left must devour the #Democrats

only then can we get movement on things like #rankedChoiceVoting #rcv where we get viable third parties

with ranked choice and stable third parties we get to vote our conscience free and clear for once in this damn country

rather than this endless insipid need for strategy in #fptp voting, compromising to #centrist bullshit that saps the will and the passion
