I've spent the last 90 or so minutes playing #Rematch.

You know what? there's something pretty good here.

I just hope it can build itself a nice community. What worries me mainly is that a lot of people come to it thinking it's FIFA Street, and it ain't that.

It's a much more realistic simulation of football, atleast in terms of tactics and build up play.

You've got to build up, you've got to maintain possession and you've got to be looking at what's going on around you constantly, otherwise you're going to end up relying on your goalie digging you out of the shit almost constantly.

Passing is vital too; to the point where I'm already frustrated at the amount of times people refuse to use the spare man and pass the ball backwards. Sometimes you've got to go south to go north you know? Much more preferable to giving the ball away.

So yeah. Seems fun. Will be sticking around for a while, not least because it's both on Gamepass and runs well on my Steamdeck.

Got my Beta code for #REMATCH and I guess that's what I'll be playing this evening.

Me and my brothers are on the lookout for a game that could rival Rocket League as our go-to online game, and if this thing is as interesting as it looks, it may be just that game.

Runs well on the ol' Deck too.
