Wer also jemanden kennt, der jemanden kennt... You get it. 😃

Ich bedanke mich fuers regel Teilen. 🙏🏻

I was early to full online teaching at Evergreen Valley College, 2001-2003. I taught both C++ and Perl 100% online. Academia was very queasy about remote at that time. Since 2003 I have been at a residential R1, where I have witnessed much slower adoption of related tools (Canvas), as is appropriate here. But so many other institutions went much or even full online!

Now it seems like it must end, #AI means #remote must end? Here for that!

Okay, let's try this, for the first time ever. I'm Quin, and I'm looking for a job over the summer, possibly longer as long as it's part time (I'm a college student with the summer off). I'm mostly interested in #remote work, due to my complete blindness traveling to a workplace is more difficult, all be it not impossible. I just prefer coding from my bedroom. I'm a software developer and hacker (in the oldest and best sense of the word) who loves nothing more than figuring out a good challenge. I prefer low-level coding in C, C++, Rust, etc., but things like Python and Lua have their place too. My resume is here: quinbox.xyz/resume.html

pay $10 per month to my ISP for a static IP address. But I'm only traveling perhaps a dozen days a year. The VNC solution is pretty straightforward for digital modes, but sideband and CW are not generally easy to do in that environment. Any thoughts or tools to get around the CGNAT access to a machine on my home/shack network? Or am I just out of luck? #HamRadio #remote

Fake #job seekers using #AI tools are flooding #US companies that are #hiring for #remote #jobs
Once hired, fraudulent employees can install #malware to demand ransoms, steal customer data, or simply collect salaries they wouldn't otherwise obtain, according to Vijay Balasubramaniyan, CEO of Pindrop Security. The problem extends beyond tech companies. Last year, the Justice Department alleged more than 300 U.S. firms inadvertently hired impostors with ties to North Korea.
