#trump is setting himself up for another contempt of court situation.

Actively threatening Americans.

Since #elonmusk and #doge were denied access to Social Security info, his administration is threatening to freeze or shut down #socialsecurity saying they don't know how to remove DOGE from social security, and don't know what the judgement means, as I guess they can't read.

One court case is justification to threaten 70 million #disabled and #retired Americans.

Postponed my trip to the NGA and Enlighten tonight - just too tired.

Tomorrow afternoon I start co-judging entries for an award and I am hoping to have my critical faculties functioning as well as possible so an early-ish night for me tonight.

First on tomorrow's agenda though is a morning walk, then a 2 hour webinar on the Australia-US Alliance at 9am, while I accomplish some basic website maintenance work and scheduling, and then on to the active listening of the award entries.

I'm hoping to dash out and get a haircut but that might have to wait until next week.

One thing I am really looking forward to this week is Skirt-suits and suffragettes: Explore the stories of significant women in Australia’s political history on our new walking tour. (Through the National Archives)

Individuals interested in becoming an air traffic controller must be younger than 31 years of age to apply for the position, according to the Federal Aviation Administration website. Air traffic controllers are permitted to serve in the position until they are 56 years old.

So, it’s immediately unclear how Musk’s plan to lure retirees back would even be possible.

we view coding as writing, and as a creative activity as well.

@gahlearner, you get it. Writing stories and writing code are aspects of the same language-based endeavor. One's coding in English, of course, but if anybody thinks that computer programming grammar is magnitudes more unforgiving... try leaving out the "n't" in "wouldn't" in a strategic place in your novel. Then tell me which is more unforgiving... When you are coding for wetware computers, word choice matters. The logic is of utmost importance. Try to convince me otherwise, if you dare!

#Medical #vaccine #Retired I am sitting here with ice on my arm from my first shingles vaccine. The pain is not nearly as bad as my wife's shingles that she has had all week. It seems to be getting better, thank God. Over 50? Consider getting your own vaccine, currently free for seniors.
