I miss the days when TV seasons ran for 20+ episodes and were serialized with weekly releases, and studios committed to seasons well before the current one was finished.
The combination of Netflix's "dump and run" releases and Game of Thrones' over-production has meant we have short seasons, rushed story-telling, and studios that refuse to commit to anything long-term.
Meanwhile, movie studios keep doing remakes after remakes because everyone's scared to tell new stories.
