These flowers have appeared at the sides of busy roads all over KZN. I'm told they are exotic, an invasive weed. called Mexican sunflowers. But Wikipedia says they are valuable fertilizers. #roadside #flowers #KZN

Here's a sample of our roadside cutlery.

Starburst pattern formed by cutlery (spoons and forks) on a rust-colored sofa cushion. They come in various shapes and sizes, with various patterns on the part you hold.

On the right, Jay (see previous post). On the left, a young 19 year old guy we met, "crazier" than us. Started walking on the road in Vancouver to head back to Montreal. Thousands of kms in, he bought some rollerblades and poles and went along gliding on the shoulder listening to beats in a quasi-dancing fashion. He slept in the ditch in his clothes with no tent. Great smile and positive attitude!

Kelly-Moore Paint building in Sunnyvale, now vacant and boarded up as the business has moved to Texas. But you can still see the outline of the iconic “Parking In Back” sign that used to grace that window. Google Street View still has the original. I have no idea why they decided to scrape off *some* of the artwork, but not the rest. #photography #streetPhotography #roadside #art #sfba #sunnyvale
