Because I feel like it here is some random insight into the Xbox Rog Ally:

- its handheld PC just like the “normal” Rog Ally and close to a Steam Deck
- it’s not a dedicated portable like a Switch or Switch 2
- it has a similar Chipset to a Steam Deck so it’s similar in power
- it’s still just running Windows 11 with the Xbox windows app always open.
- You can play from any game store that works on Windows but they want you to “import” executeable paths into their launcher for those other stores
- Battery life will be similar to the existing ally
- I suspect they will push hard on the cloud gaming front for this device opposed to local play
- expect poorer performance because its reliance on Windows
- No this isn’t a Steam Deck or Switch Killer
- I speculate this will launch at 599 and 699 respectively.
