The 1987 book To Sail Beyond the Sunset has Maureee Johnson's father, Doctor Ira Johnson who realizes just as telephones are installed in "small" towns in Ohio, that they will 
negatively change the way he works. This was in the early 1900s. Folks in the rual area will call his home, late at night and ask for a home doctor's visit.

My single minded focus on just the #StarWars legends materials like books and comics and games, choosing to skip all current Disney projects for now after being unhappy with most of it, has led me to picking up Knights of the Old Republic II on a big sale on #GoG where I also picked up Ys 1 and 2 at a third of their usual price.
If you are into dystopic #SciFi and have Netflix, you might want to have a look into the new series #Eternauta.
I have watched the first half of it, and so far it's the best recent production in that genre.
If you speak Spanish, you might also give the excellent homonymous #GraphicNovel by Hector Germán Oesterheld from 1957, on which the series is based, a chance.

Yeah, these types are hard for me. At least the MC, Jim, is an amateur guitarist. He might not cause too many problems playing rhythm guitar... if they had actual guitars in the world he's stuck in.
