Dr H<p>The Junkube.</p><p>This started as an experiment in making a regular shape with irregular parts: A cube from junk pieces.</p><p>I used a number of random pieces from my junk collection. Mostly hot-guled together, filled small gaps with grit, created the base and blended it in with PVA/tissue, and added electric arcs with a 3D printing pen.</p><p>It then became a terrain piece.</p><p>Space Marine for scale.</p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/TabletopTerrain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TabletopTerrain</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Scratchbuilt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Scratchbuilt</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Junkube" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Junkube</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/DrH" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DrH</span></a></p>

Dr H<p>Hut on Mound.<br>Scratchbuilt tabletop terrain piece in mostly card.</p><p>Based around a mound created from an old teatowel soaked in clay.</p><p>While working on some air-dry clay sculptures I ended up with this teatowel. Could have cleaned it, didn't.</p><p>Filled it with polystyrene foam off-cuts and formed a mound.</p><p>I then built the hut to fit the mound.<br>I also included working LED lights inside, sliding doors and a removable roof.</p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Scratchbuilt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Scratchbuilt</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/TabletopTerrain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TabletopTerrain</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/HutOnMound" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HutOnMound</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/DrH" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DrH</span></a></p>
Dr H<p>As part of a friendly competition to use recycled materials to build a piece of terrain, I decided to make as much of this hut from plastic sprue.</p><p>Other than the base (a CD sprinkled with dried paint) and the roof (pieces of card), everything is carved from sprue:</p><p>The wood,<br>The metal ladder,<br>The bottles,<br>and even the plants.</p><p>All sprue for the Sprue Hut.</p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Scratchbuilt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Scratchbuilt</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/TabletopTerrain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TabletopTerrain</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/SprueHut" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SprueHut</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/DrH" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DrH</span></a></p>
Dr H<p>CD City.<br>As seen in my profile banner.</p><p>I was looking for something to do with a broken CD player and thought of making a diorama of sorts.</p><p>I imagined opening the player and a tiny city magically pops up.</p><p>I couldn't achive the magic or popping, but I did scratchbuild a city at the smallest scale I've worked at.</p><p><a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Scratchbuilt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Scratchbuilt</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/ScaleModel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ScaleModel</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/Diorama" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Diorama</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/DrH" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DrH</span></a> <a href="https://dice.camp/tags/CDCity" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CDCity</span></a></p>
Dr H<p>More from the Multi-ped Forklift model.</p><p>The cab has a full interior with seat, controls and various monitors.</p><p>On the outside I added a few cameras so that the driver can get a better view around the forklift, such as the dome/globe camera right on top of the fork.</p><p><a href="https://warhammer.social/tags/Scratchbuilt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Scratchbuilt</span></a><br><a href="https://warhammer.social/tags/ScaleModel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ScaleModel</span></a><br><a href="https://warhammer.social/tags/Forklift" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Forklift</span></a><br><a href="https://warhammer.social/tags/TabletopTerrain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>TabletopTerrain</span></a></p>
