I took this shot of actor/storyteller Chris Cade, when he was portraying Dickens' eponymous 'Ebenezer Scrooge' at the town's former parish church. The photograph was taken before the performance in a building which had no heating on a freezing cold evening. She's absolutely nothing like the ghost in the book and sounds way too theatrical to be natural.
