Another quiet week around here, so going back to last month's visit to the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge for today's shots.

One of the things I love about that place is the view of Rainier you get when you're out on the boardwalk over the tidal flats.  On a good day it looms over the intervening hills in dramatic fashion, reflected in the water.  Which, I think, makes for a great shot from an angle you don't often get to see.

And then looking in the other direction, at Nisqually river, you are sometimes graced with a couple of seals playing in the water.  Great stuff to see in every direction down there.  :)
