Bin mit denen sehr zufrieden, habe Dutzende #Shelly Komponenten verbaut.
Die Stecker von #Homematic sind auch super, aber ziemlich klobig - aber falls du das Protokoll schon hast eventuell eine Option.

Ich bin echt positiv überrascht: Wir haben für den @balkonsolar Hackathon einen #Sunlit #BK215 Kleinspeicher bekommen und ich habe ihn mit Solarpanels, einem #Hoymiles Wechselrichter, dem #Shelly im Sicherungskasten verbunden. Mit Bau eines AC Kabels hat das insgesamt 30 min gedauert.

Nach der #Inbetriebnahme des #Raspberry Pi wird nun der #Temperatursensor beäugt. 
Ich möchte auf meinem #Balkongarten über einen Sensor 7 × 24 die #Temperatur und die #Luftfeuchtigkeit messen und die Maximal- und Minimalwerte auf #Mastodon tröten.

Well isn't that some shit! I have some #shelly plugs in the #homelab that have been acting funny! Saw the time wouldn't update so my schedules of turn off and on switches were broken!.. Chalked it up to maybe it got fried! Anyway by circumstance I was looking my #Victoria log instance that I never do and saw that there were these 2 ip's trying to reach out to an old dns server! Firewall logs working I see!! Set this up and never did look back at it. Anyway, the fuck could that be! nmap'd the thing and found out it port 80 was open!
Got you mothafucka! It was the shelly plugs.. Then that, I'm a fucking idiot light bulb came on. I didn't update the DNS settings for the static ip's I set for my shelly plugs, which couldn't resolves the time server address, which mans I couldn't get the time, which means I broke my fucking shelly plugs!
I just noticed that #shelly is now offering a Shelly-powered smart water valve. If this will also be flashable with #esphome, this could be a really nice option!

@fink #shelly pro sind auf Hutschiene und ich habe nur gutes gelesen bisher. Aber teuer.
Billig (ca. 25 €) gibts welche mit "s0"-Schnittstelle (ist offen, aber du wirst einen #esp32 oder so brauchen - geht bestimmt auch einer pro mehrere Zähler).
Die gleichen Zähler gibt es mittlerweile auch oft mit Modbusschnittstelle. Die kosten dann bisschen mehr (ca. 45 €).

Setting the brightness to, say, 50% turns the light on. Nice. Setting it to 3% then turns the light down. Nice.
Setting the light from 0% to 3% directly leaves it off.
That makes sense.

I just wrote a blog post about added more functionality to light switches.
Does anyone have experience of the #Shelly #homeautomation gear? Many moons ago we built a house and installed X10 with momentary light switches. Some of those units have failed and had no wireless control (sent signals over mains).
It looks like the Shelly units could be a straight swap and I think they can be configured for momentary switches. I need that for stair lights with 2 switches as I neglected to run 3+earth cable.
