For an upcoming talk about #sketchnoting I thought to create a mnemonic for people to remember the 9 shapes that Ed Emberley used in his learning-to-draw books. If you think of the square an M then you can anagram COLA·MAID. Then I thought I should use the shapes to illustrate the mnemonic, and now present to you COLA MAID, complete with an Emberley-esque instructions on how to draw it yourself.
