Antifaschist @TesterinH Snapchat hat etwas, das wenig ins #Fediverse passt. Du hast einen enormen Druck, "Snaps" zu sammeln. Das tust du, in dem du ständig sinnlos etwas fotografiert und an deine Freunde schickst. Du darfst das aber nicht unterbrechen. Vergessen geht nicht, dann ist der Streak weg.
Hab diesen Druck bei meiner 15jährigen erlebt. Ist heftig.

In general they love their #instagram , #facebook , #tiktok, #snapchat and (sadly) #twitter.
If I point out the horrifying privacy violations they willingly submit to, they say ”But all my friends are there”.

Die Nutzer sind jünger, und somit auch die Menschen, die in den Clips vorkommen. Es gibt viele asoziale Clips, in denen fremden, älteren Menschen in der U-Bahn Jugendliche Kakao übergießen und Ähnliches. Diese Videos werden nicht gesperrt. Mit so etwas möchte ich kein Geld machen.
Neue Studie zu #Cybergrooming erschienen: fast ein Viertel der Minderjährigen (13-17-Jährige) war schon von Cybergrooming betroffen, 26 % bereits von #Sextortion - dabei wurde in den meisten Fällen (42 %) damit gedroht, Chatverläufe zu veröffentlichen und am häufigsten (40 %) gefordert, sich privat zu treffen. Meist geben sich Erwachsene dabei am Anfang als Gleichaltrige aus. Zur Ansprache der Kinder werden Komplimente oder vermeintlich gleiche Interessen genutzt. Am häufigsten passierte all das auf #Snapchat (29 %) und #Instagram (27 %), gefolgt von #TikTok (18 %).
Eltern und Schule müssen Kinder dazu aufklären. Zudem ein weiteres Argument dafür, Kinder nicht zu früh soziale Medien nutzen zu lassen.
