maybe its #fearmongering

but just keep in mind this #woman could be right

the #pressconference might have been one big show

to show the world how bad #zelenskyy is, that he does not want #peace and does not want a #deal

#pressconference #fallout: what might be also right, that #mankind will die not because of #climatechange but lack of #socialskills X-D

will #Trump abandon #Ukraine (and #democracy)?

pull out of #NATO and let #Europe and #Russia fight to the death = #worldwar3?

it is basically the #ww2 business concept all over again: #USA will sell a lot of #weapons like this = boost their #economy (based on #blood of others)

it has happened before infosec.exchange/@Linknation/1

and when #Russia wins they support #Europe and when #Europe wins they support #Russia X-D

"hurray" "congratulations all involved"

It is but a simple concept and that makes #Peopleverse attractive to me. Easier to keep direction *despite* the #tech, towards solution space.

An easy to grasp and evaluate #SocioTechnological vision. Just compare with everyday life. Imagine some #social situation and context and picture seeing it from ones own eyes, then compare to what we all too easily think works similarly #online. Where we mess up with our mismatched #SocialSkills and wrong expectations of outcome.

I used to think that there were a lot of #replyGuys on the #Fediverse because there's just a lot of #IT/#STEM people here and people in those fields just lack #socialskills.

But I'm starting to think y'all are just bored!. You left #Twitter because it was "toxic" but if you were honest you'd admit that you enjoyed the stimulation.

You can't get the same kind of dopamine out of #mastodon so you have to go out and find people to argue with to try to get something, ANYTHING out of this hellsite.

Guess she read the Wish version of Carnegie's book: How to Lose Friends and Irritate People

"The core problem with Clinton’s communication style in her remarks is an absence of empathy. Polling indicates that Biden is cursed by the same problem as she was in 2016 — high unfavorability that puts him on roughly equal footing with Trump. Clinton not only fails to grapple with the reasons that some segments of the population might find both candidates prohibitively distasteful, but also appears to not want to understand it. “Get over yourself” and “I don’t understand it” are not messages of persuasion. Nor do they qualify as firing up the base. They’re borderline scornful."

Twitter and Reddit actually encourage this kind of behavior; it's culturally acceptable to jump into random strangers replies with a snide comment, or a witty riff. Offering a counter point to the throngs of dissenting readers is a viable method of engagement farming on those sites. It gives people brainworms; normal societies do not allow strangers to randomly contradict people. It's rude.
