Oxeye (UV, Visible);

OK, this is one failed attempt but I'm posting it anyway. You can see here clearly the difference between UV (left) and normal (right) looks for this oxeye flower (which I hope I got the name for right). Both images were taken handheld and I was hoping that with the help of PS that I can combine them together to make a "bee vision" image, but unfortunately, PS failed me. I tried to do it manually, but it didn't work quite well. So, decided to post it as is side by side just for comparison. You see how the center of the flower is dark; something you can't see with the naked eye.
Even though I corrected the colors like in the previous shots I've been posting for the past 3 days or so, but the UV colors here just looked different - not complaining though.
Now, I'm trying to think of more targets to shoot in UV!
Now that I don't have anything new left, I think I'll go back to my archive to post daily.

UV Maggie;

Remember Maggie? The pink flower? This is it in UV.
Since it was shot handheld and with UV (and IR block) filters, the exposure was hard and ISO was on auto and naturally rose to 6400, hence the noise. I tried to clean the noise but touching it further would render the image so soft. This is also a crop from the original (a took out a big chunk out of it).
What's interesting here is how the middle portion is tinted yellow a bit - I've actually put on some saturation (when colors were correct the flower was almost white), and this yellow comes out naturally when saturation is added, and would be even stronger if the saturation was even added more. It is speculated that bees see such differences in the flowers under UV.

@f_dion @jet this Axel seems like an insanely cool instrument. I didn't know it even existed but it looks syrreal.

If anybody interested, there is recently released Loris Synth - a DSP based #spectral #waveform #analyser for eaganmatrix instruments. I'll probably try it out if I have some free time later this year. It's not fully standalone in a sense that the analysis is done inside the computer but after initial converting, all the sounds will be available in the standalone instrument.
