myrmepropagandist<p>Used the laser cutter to make a holder for my class set of spirographs — for the lessons I like to do my students need to know how many teeth the gears have. They write a program that produces the same curve using turtle. Could throw off someone trying to do a precisely calculated pattern.</p>

Michael K Johnson<p>Every time my favorite mathematician uses these to teach <a href="https://social.makerforums.info/tags/math" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>math</span></a> exploration, she asks me to print a few more. (Sometimes she gives a few away, too!) More or less every time I do that, I tweak the design to improve it.
