That is, NNCP adds modern encryption and a lot more flexibility, while dropping UUCP's modem focus.</p><p>If you really do need to use modems, NNCP is more flexible than UUCP in how you get data in and out of it, and it is certainly possible to transport NNCP using UUCP. (Vice-versa is more difficult because UUCP has no API for this)</p><p>1/</p>
