For me, the best music was made in the '80s (pop/rock), some alternative rock in the 1990s and early 2000s, and then the Pitchfork indie-era between 2003-2012 (folk, experim. electronic).

Since then, it has been one song here, one song there that I like. Maybe I'm difficult, or old. But given that most GenZ listen to older music too according to Spotify, I think I'm on the right side of things. We currently live in a cultural void.

YouTube to be included in Australia's teen social media ban

YouTube will be included in Australia's world-first social media ban for children under 16, after the government ditched a previous exemption for the platform.

Under the ban, teenagers will be able to view YouTube videos but will not be permitted to have an account, which is required for uploading content or interacting on the platform.
