I’m a wordy bastard. I really struggle with 500 characters. I’d struggle with 500 words sometimes. It's been hard to find a flow here (despite Mona's fantastic thread generator.)
I’m creating a #blog to house longer writings and share thoughts here without requiring anyone to visit platforms so many gathered here to avoid.
I'm using #Hugo instead of my usual #WordPress and dipping my toes into #Go and #TailwindCSS. I've only created the local structures, but so far, I dig it! It's #FOSS too!

Je n'aime pas le frontend… C'est pas une aversion pour autant mais c'est un sujet difficile. J'ai pourtant essayé dès le début, vers 2000 (oui oui, l'année), quand on utilisait des TABLE avec des images transparentes de 1×1px pour faire sa mise en page. Il n'y avait pas de CSS à l'époque. Quand le CSS est arrivé j'ai cru que ça me sauverait un peu mais en fait non, toujours pas… Je n'ai pas cette fibre graphique qui met des paillettes et des licornes pile là où il faut. […]

I just did some maintenance on the Pelican web site, and something has gone arwy with Tailwind CSS — it is not supposed to look like this: https://getpelican.com
