Slam Dunk / Schiacciata for #texturetuesday

This is from one the gardens this weekend. It was quite hard to get photos because it was a small garden and there were lots of people there (I generally try not to photograph people - at least not in a very recognizable way if I can help it) but we managed to snag this and another photo of a cute gnome!

I haven't been feeling much inspiration lately so I've just been crocheting whatever comes to mind. I've also been studying at YouTube University (heh), and I think I've discovered my new comfort stitch. No clue if it has a name, but it's a two row repeat of HDC TOG and FPSC. I've found the end result to be a nice thick material that is squishy and warm enough for scarves while also being textured enough on both sides for dishcloths!
