At the time I wrote this, composer Philip Glass was getting a lot of buzz. I saw performances of his work and found myself being very critical. I felt I could do as well as any of his pieces.
As the saying goes, "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."
So, I challenged myself to write a piece with elements of Glass' style and elements of my style.
