Been busy with other elections, so I've only just managed to update my #ukpoli polling average and seat projections. And the splintering is appearing just as much in seats as it is in votes.
The only two-party combination that can win a majority between them (Labour + Reform) is just not credible. So if there were a general election today, the formation of a government will be complicated, to say the least.

Yes, trans women will be kicked out of women's spaces, but that's because your 5/6ths male Supreme Court sees women as damsels in distress, and thinks they always will be. Trans exclusion is just today's, luckily convenient, side effect of that. Plus they're giving trans men, who may have penises and high testosterone levels, the right to be in your spaces. So is it even that helpful?

I can't believe we're this far into the US trade war and I still see media stories suggesting that tariffed countries are "paying", and in the literal sense.

This is probably the worst betrayal of the working class Britons of any Labour prime minister. I've been prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he has to go. If he does not, the Labour movement in the UK is completely finished.
This news in the UK is very bad - it looks like Starmer is thinking that his government should put financially supporting America's Robber Barons ahead of the UK's most vulnerable. Giving America's oligarchs a tax cut, just when he is dismantling what is left of the welfare state.

Just been reflecting on how many prime ministers the UK and Canada has had in the 6 years between us emigrating to Canada in January 2019 and now.
1: Justin Trudeau
5: Theresa May; Boris fucking Johnson; Lettuce Lady who crashed the economy; Sunak; Kier Starmer.
If there were a general election today, there would be a high probability (around 8 in 10) that Reform would win more seats than the Conservatives, and a slim probability (around 1 in 10) that they would become the largest party.
Note that much of the fieldwork was done before the recent Reform infighting.
Hey European and UK netizens, if you truly want to see Canada survive this, while emerging from this stronger, and making a failed reality TV star look stupid, then consider e-mailing/calling your elected representatives and asking them to expand trade with Canada.
Oh, to be a fly on that royal wall.
