Anyone have any ideas or advice for me? I'm looking to replace the US based #Webflow platform as my main web design tool. I still love it, it's incredible. But I'm concerned at the country's antics and how at their Dear Leader's whim service to Europe could be cut off in a single day.
I love #noCode when I can see what is going on begins the ui (ie the code changes). I can code, just a visual ui is faster to work with.

Jako krok jedna budeme se @zoul oddelovat "prezentacni" cast od aplikace, abychom si nenesli technicky dluh do dalsiho rozvoje. Budeme prehazovat prezentacni cast webu z Nextu do Webflow. Pokud by se toho kdokoli chtel ucastnit, nevahejte se ozvat.

@rscottjones@mastodon.social That way lies madness! With #Webflow, I don’t have to worry about cocking up the code (I never see the code). But there are some limitations I need to find a workaround for.
I see #Webflow just rebranded and updated its UI and all the things. It'll take me a while to decide if it's better (UI elements are now very small, brand type is very bold, maybe feels just a smidge dated*, or not), but in the meantime change is good #noCode #design

I’ve been in CSS hell again. I am really, really not good at this.
But I shall persevere to get it at least functional, then find someone who’s experienced with #Webflow to smooth out all the rough edges I’m leaving.

Briefly experimented with adding needle engine to #webflow
Very excited about the beta release of #WebStudio! It’s an open-source alternative to #Webflow, a visual UI builder for designers. One of the engineers working on it even used to work at Webflow!
They claim that it’s less resource-heavy, sites run faster, and there’s no vendor lock-in.
As soon as they release custom code components I’ll be trying it out!
Just sent a first draft of a website to a non-tech client. They wanted CMS access which I granted. I hadn't yet given training and yet they went ahead completing page edits and created a new event in the listing section. I asked how, their answer, "I’ve never used it before and just found it super easy to use!" This is why I use #webflow
Hey #webdev peeps, what tech will you learn in 2023? Part of my thinking is "what would be a detour, or make me feel spread out too thin?"

to keep options open, am open to doing a project in #Laravel or #Python (where I need a little time to come up to speed)
I am paying attention / looking ahead at the rise of #NoCode options such as #Webflow, #BubbleIO, and/or #Shopify
