San Francisco Reality
While looking through wallpaper images for my desktop reset, the mouse cursor happened upon a preview of this image.. not sure about the source/artist, but it's as close to a pre-pandemic representation of my work/home life-cycles while living in SF.
From the shoebox apartment to the heels kicked off and bra spun off.. I used to love going into the office, being all adult and professional, and everything (mostly) involved with a walking commute from a FiDi condo tower (with Bay Bridge and sometimes Golden Gate views) down the Embarcadero to a Soma office and back...
It was a beautiful era, one which had come to a close by 2020, and one which will unlikely return within the next half-decade or more. Having finally moved away, with so many beautiful memories over most of my adult life, hmm... what else can be said? Thank you SF... but please, take care of yourself. It's not too late.
