As Emily Singer notes, Republican senator Cassidy gave the GOP game plan away yesterday when he slipped and said,
"Let's look at Medicare: Is there some way we can cut Medicare so that, excuse me, reform Medicare so that benefits stay the same but that it's less expensive, more efficient?"

Sure: cutting out redundant paper work alone would save 100s billions. literally just provide care w/o respect to insurance and insane amounts of efficiency magically appear.

This is outright murder. Today I read about several cuts for medical offices who vaccinate (i.e. against measles). Does Trump and his cronies want another pandemic? And tens of thousands dead kids and even adults.
There must be a way to stop this destruction of health services. They are vital for all people.
