The coal, oil, & gas industries rely heavily on steel, so does the military & wind turbines. There is a feed back loop that needs interrupting. This looks promising, but scaling up in a reasonable amount of time, i.e. before it's too late, is questionable. The fossil fuel lobby will likely oppose, just as they have done with every other competitor.
