@Michigander I took cross-lake rides on the Badger and its retired peers 3 times as a teen, on family road tripsin the 70s and 80s. Given an excuse for doing so again, I'd jump at it. The trip really drives home the fact that L. Michigan is a real inland sea so big that shapes its own weather.
