damaged Trump because he looked weak. Three out of four Americans & 60 per cent of Republicans call it a serious problem. It broke through. Their handling of it made a bad situation much worse. (AXIOS poll.)

@StephanieMoore I agree. Appearing weak is Trump's kryptonite. The fact that he was so out of the loop on the decision-making process is another line of attack. Trump is vulnerable on this one.
