In an interesting thread on X, Chris Murphy lays out how the tariffs are all about power. Trump can leverage them to gain concessions from CEOs. Makes sense--because tariffs make no sense economically. Murphy continues to be impressive.
Dem leaders really need to step up now. James Carville's advice to 'roll over & play dead' is political malpractice--and an example of the old guard being out of touch. Bernie, AOC & others are showing the way.
