Rudy Giuliani claims to have pioneered the use of RICO laws when he was a federal prosecutor in NY to shut down corrupt politicians. Now he’s charged with RICO violations in GA for trying to change the election results there. Karma, meet your latest target.

@georgetakei There's gonna be biographies written on that guy's fall from grace.

I'm not saying it was deserved, but when I was a kid Giuliani had a reputation for being one of the best mayors New York had seen. His progression from there to "accused of racketeering and election interference" is a hell of a trip---he could have just done none of that, retired quietly, and kept a solid legacy intact.

@mark @georgetakei There are rumours of being in cahoots with mafia almost from beginning of his career as a Prosecutor. Basically, he cleared the field for them by defeating and gained glory and the position of mayor for himself. But being tied to Russians meant he had little choice when it came to retiring.
