"The American-Filipino journalist [Maria Ressa] said Mark Zuckerberg’s move to relax content moderation on the Facebook and Instagram platforms would lead to a 'world without facts' and that was 'a world that’s right for a dictator'.'"

The Guardian · Meta is ushering in a ‘world without facts’, says Nobel peace prize winnerBy Dan Milmo

"It’s a retreat from limiting harm to users….

It was never about facts nor should it have been. It was always about limiting harm to Facebook users and advertisers. No reputable company wants its product or service placed next to a gruesome image of sexual exploitation, violence or bigotry."

User Mag · Stop pretending Meta cares about free speechBy Taylor Lorenz

@wdlindsy
I'm kinda loving the brutal roasting of Zuck about "free speech."

@CatHerder I am, too, and the trolling I'm seeing on social media where people are posting all sorts of made-up crap about Zuckerberg, reinforced by made-up photos, since free speech, after all — and facts don't matter.

@wdlindsy
I was laughing pretty hard at the "free speech" Zuck mock ups yesterday.
I hope it never stops.

@CatHerder I'll admit, I've been laughing, too, and also shaking my head that it has come to this.
