Blue Prince: Welcome to the Gift Shop
Hey, I completed another game! And what a journey...

a jockey with wings seems like cheating #blueprince
Yes, I keep finding more things in #BluePrince and I haven't even bought all the books yet. 8 realms in 8 months. Swimming trunks. Playing tricks with your deck. Bending the mechanics to breaking point. can't stop
and i've spent wayyyy too long in this room today
I have finally wrapped up the large scale mega-puzzle I was working on in Blue Prince. All that's on my radar now is the most obscure and least well sign-posted puzzle I've noticed breadcrumbs for. For the first time, I honestly don't know what's next. Noodling around, I guess?
My biggest problem with Blue Prince is that I can't make excited toots about it when I figure something out, because the whole game is spoilers.
I... found a thing. I figured out I needed a thing to do a thing, and then I found the thing and took it to the thing, and then a thing happened!
It's very exciting, I promise.
"Do you want to open this sanctum door?"
Why sure #BluePrince
(sees room)
wait no no nooo I meant uhhhh this other door?
(Don't worry, this wholesome image is not the sanctum door.)
I've gained eight trophies in #BluePrince and now I rest and try to get a conservatory to change my closed exhibit back to whatever rarity it was cause at common I've never fucking seen it and I weep.
Once I abandoned a #BluePrince house before building a single room just to see how the game would, uh, describe it.
And here was my reaction when I accidentally drafted the Freezer from the #BluePrince Dark Room, which brought a fairly decent run to a car crash end
Totally forgot to tell you my reaction to what they had up on the wall in the Geography classroom in #BluePrince, which I will describe using this image
Look, I know people have (valid) issues with subscription based entertainment models, but since signing up for PS Plus, I've discovered and played a ton of games I wouldn't have considered, some of which I plan to buy.
This post brought to you by my newfound love of puzzle games brought on by Blue Prince.
Steam tells me I've spent 25 hours at Mt Holly and it's around Day 35. I believe I was close to "victory" in a previous run but I ran out of steps to pull it off. Generally, my play style is very pensive and opportunistic.
It's official: For #BluePrince, I've upgraded my Brain Room to Obsessed.
So #BluePrince day 18 and 19 were brutally cut short but I took the time to do some puzzle research.
Also after reading a certain book in the library, I can't help but note the emblem baked into the frame and panel here is - thinking about story here - an interesting choice.
My day 17 in #BluePrince was *insane*. With some "luck levers" cranked the session snowballed -- I was able to solve several puzzles including the breaker room, deploy multiple new rooms, hollow out the locker room, penetrate the antechamber, open up two new areas and took a zillion screenshots.
