Oyen cats, commonly seen in Malaysia, are stereotypically considered more attractive due to cultural perceptions rather than fact. No scientific studies confirm that orange cats possess superior traits; attractiveness is subjective. Cultural biases romanticize their bold coats and personalities—viewpoints influenced by media like Garfield. While some suggest orange cats are more outgoing or affectionate, research shows minimal behavioral correlation with coat color; individual differences outweigh color-based stereotypes. Genetically, orange cats are not a distinct breed but vary across breeds and environments. Perceptions—such as associating black cats with mystery—are human biases, not inherent truths. Ultimately, oyen cats are not objectively more appealing; their popularity stems from visual and cultural influences. Personal preference drives attraction, not innate superiority.

🐦👀 Flokito was all snuggled in until he heard a bird outside. That got his full attention for a moment, but since it didn’t seem close enough, he went right back to what he wanted: a morning snooze in ultimate comfort! 😹

🇵🇹🇧🇷 Flokinho se aconchega até que ouve um passarinho, o que desperta seu maior interesse, mas, como não estava tão próximo assim, volta ao que queria fazer: um cochilo matutino no maior aconchego! 💤

Hey cat people, I need your help. My new cat is a rescue who appears to be afraid of either men, tall men, or literally just me. I think she’s been abused, I have to move in slow motion around her. I don’t mind this at all, I’m happy to go at her speed and earn her trust. She gets treats and as much physical affection as she’ll tolerate, she seems to love playing too. But, she’s REAL hesitant around me. #Cats #catbehavior

Cats LOVE to scratch bc it's simply Who they are/What they do. Personally I'm very much AGAINST #declawingcats simply to spare sofas. There ARE ways to Redirect our felines away from destroying furniture: try different Types of scratchposts ~ some are made of cardboard; others #sisal Last image clearly shows that CARDBOARD is preferred!

DEclawing a cat is bad for their Well Being!

🍂 Autumn has finally arrived! This is the first weekend in Flokito’s life with morning temps dipping below 15°C (60°F). He’s still figuring things out… but he’s already mastered finding the coziest nook! 😻

🇧🇷🇵🇹 Finalmente chegou o outono! É o primeiro fim de semana na vida do #Flokinho com temperaturas matutinas menores que 15°C. Ainda está aprendendo, mas já encontrou um cantinho aconchegante!

NPR: These scientists are building a cat database to understand why they act like that . “…scientists at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, along with UMass Chan Medical School are working on the Darwin’s Cats project. Their goal is to build a comprehensive database that answers many questions about the behavioral and genetic traits of our friendly felines.”
