Ended up doing almost ten miles (mostly flat) which far exceeded my expectations considering I’m several years older and a bit rounder since I rode last. A feeling of satisfaction coupled with a sore butt.

My best shots were taken when stopped, but there are a few interesting shots taken while riding.

Developed 3 rolls of #KentmerePan200 tonight, using replenished #XTOL. My bathroom (where my darkroom/lab is) runs pretty hot - so I took 6:30 at 20C, reduced by 15% for rotation, and adjusted for temperature resulting in 4:15 @ 23.9C. Overall I'm pleased, I'll have to see how the negatives look when I can scan them, hopefully tomorrow.

New camera works!

HP5/Rodinal is so crunchy. I love it. Grainy, yes. But crunchy. I like crunchy.

I guess I'll need to try printing a few of these to see if I like how the negative translates to the paper. I like the scans, so I hope I'll like the prints too.

I probably shouldn’t test two things at once…but I’ve had this tank roller in my cabinet for a while and just haven’t gotten around to trying it.

Shot a test roll around the neighborhood with the new camera, so it seemed like a low-risk test. I did 15% less time than the MDC specified for inversion. Negatives look decent, I think?

Sometime I’ll have to split a roll between two tanks and compare results based on method.

Today is my last #FolderWeek post - what a wonderful week it’s been. I’m very process-oriented, so fiddling with a new camera and developing film brings me as much, if not more, joy as seeing the photos themselves.

These are from my small town’s downtown area. Our downtown park has an old railroad caboose in it, behind an events stage for various town events.

Scanned the test roll from my new (to me) folder - this was my first time zone focusing. I tried to keep things at f/8 or above, except for one picture of a tree trunk at f/5.6 as I needed the light…and it’s not very well focused

Used a handheld light meter. Sunny 16 scares me.

Need to get another few rolls under my belt before #folderweek
